Lesley A. Sharpe, 75, of Newtown died Sunday July 24th in Masonicare at Newtown after a long illness. Mrs. Sharpe was the beloved wife of Robert J. Sharpe. She was born in Bridgeport on October 9, 1940 a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Geoghegan. Lesley grew up in Fairfield and attended schools there. She was also a graduate of the University of Connecticut. Mrs. Sharpe was a longtime Laboratory Technician at Stamford Hospital until her retirement. A resident of Newtown for 50 years, she was a Communicant at St. Rose of Lima Church and was a member of the Newtown Senior Center. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Christopher R. Sharpe of San Jose, CA and a brother, Thomas Geoghegan of CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown Friday July 29th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown Thursday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
