Condolence: What a sweet name for a sweet child. No parent should ever have to lose their child. That is why God has promised to comfort you as you mourn and strengthen you. It is our hope that maybe your family and other families affected by this horrible event may be able to draw strength from one another as well as the whole world. Sending love from Alabama and the hope that the words at Revelation 21:3, 4 & Isaiah 25:8 will be added to your thoughts.

Condolence: Little Olivia is not gone forever. The bible says that those in God's memory will be brought right back to life in the future. You're in my prayers, and I hope it's comforting to know that she is in God's memory.

Condolence From: Sister Hughes
Condolence: Dear Engel Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Reading her obituary, I could not help but think how truly special Olivia was. I pray that you will have the full support of your family and friends to get through the days and months ahead. The Bible tells us “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. [Psalms 34: 18] God’s word the Bible promises that by means of his kingdom, “death will be no more.” Imagine that! It goes on to say, “Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.” [Revelation 21: 3-5] I pray you will find some comfort in these scriptures. The Bible tells us “For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” [Ecclesiastes 9:5] So she is not suffering nor is she in any pain. She is at peace. Please review these scriptures in your personal copy of the Bible. May the “peace of God that excels all thought…. by means of Christ Jesus”, help ease your pain. [Philippians 4:7] [Psalms 83:18]
Sincerely,
Sister Hughes

Condolence: I wanted to express my sincere condolences to the Engel family. I was very sorry to hear of Olivia's falling asleep in death. I can only imagine how devastated the family is at this time, so I wanted to share some encouraging words with you from the Bible. Never did Almighty God purpose for our loved ones, our children, to be taken away by the enemy death, living an unspeakable pain in our hearts. He does purpose to awaken those asleep, like Olivia, in the memorial tombs to a life of eternal blessings, peace, and freedom of wickedness and violence, on a Paradise earth. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11) This is not a mere dream, but a reality. May this hope bring you comfort and strengthen you to endure this difficult time. (Psalm 147:3)

Condolence: The Engel family - of course we did not know Olivia, but I feel compelled to at least write this on behalf of my family. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow you are dealing with. My heart and prayers go out to you and the other families. I've always considered myself big and tough, nothing brings me down. I want you to know I cried yesterday for Olivia and the other kids/teachers who perished. God bless you and know that she is in heaven awaiting your arrival. Love, Phil Nichols
